mars

Our ears were bleeding and one of us had lost an arm: but what did that matter ? We had arrived on Mars, simply by pinching the bridges of our noses and wanting be there.

  • Maybe it’s because I’m a bit feverish and under the weather tonight, but I have to say, I’m feeling increasingly unqualified to comment on your blog Uncle Zip.

  • I feel a bit light-headed too, Dave. Must be Credit Crunch fever.

  • oh, and to live in NYC just up from Wall St–I long to be on Mars some days. As usual when feeling faint in the face of the world I go to paint. I have noticed that the weirder the news gets the more I focus on the everyday in my paintings. Probably won’t last forever but the green bottle and violet paisley drapery have stolen my heart for now.

  • I doubt it’s Credit Crunch Fever. Seems like that’d be more likely to plague an investment banker.

Personally, I think this is a great time to be near Wall St. Mia. On the way to work today, the subway was rank with anxiety. I love it. Thousands of criminals who have been making obscene amounts of money on make beleive transactions are finally facing the music. Dominoes falling.
