That’s the first time I’ve heard eczema used as a collective noun…
Hi constihill–just an extension of “rash” or “outbreak”, really.
Also, as used in ‘Signs of Life’ = ‘an eczema of dried soapsuds’ – though, now I am being entranced by said volume, I hardly know how I have the temerity to be so geeky about it. I only hit on the line yesterday, and enjoyed the delayed synchronicity of the reference.
