The best outcome here would be a few more glimpses then nothing. The sooner the pursuit is abandoned to loonies & internet obsessives the better; that way the mystery can slip behind its own bad reputation & vanish. Was there ever an orang pendek ? It won’t be possible to know. Only some kitschy meme will remain.

It’s the same thing there as here… except that Sasquatch is real, of course.
When I was a kid, living in the Chicago suburbs, I was afraid of Sasquatch. I do not know why.
Hope they don’t encounter the dreaded Sumatran rat monkey. One of those buggers was responsible for a nasty case of zombification and mother fixation in New Zealand back in the nineties.
