I know it’s Young Adult, but even so it seems a bit shrill. “Honor” is a name whose implications whack you on the nose whenever you read it, and while the notion of sealing the sky’s intriguing, you wonder why a similar level of technology couldn’t have averted the Flood in the first place – like this, courtesy of the equally improbable Dr. Angel:
