I want to include flash fiction from the blog, so if you have any favourites nominate them in the comments here.
Dear Mr. Harrison,
I didn’t see anywhere else to leave a general comment, so I’ll leave it here. I read your book, The Centauri Device, many years ago. It is one of the 5 or 6 books that stands our in my mind, and believe me, I’ve read plenty. I have read a number of your books since and they’ve all been outstanding. I think it was the time I read it and the concepts that made it particularly significant to me. Much like Michael Moorcock’s Dancers at the End of Time, it was far beyond a space opera. While I think that Moorcock’s books were the progenitor to Steam Punk, your stories were well ahead of the anti heros. I just wanted to thank you for an excellent experience that has lasted many years. I rate it with the Dancers, Samuel Delaney’s Nova, and few others that I truly consider groundbreaking. I’m a 57 year old lawyer, not a gushing teenager. Ever since i found that book, I have always looked for your name.
Hi Jan Trendowski. Many thanks for this. I’m glad the books have left their mark on you and I hope you enjoy the next one as much.
Thank you for responding. Your writing is a stone pleasure.
